Nursing- A Career Choice

According to the Department of Labor, careers in nursing are looking better than ever, even with a recession looming that's why many are going to school for nursing while they are working. In fact, I heard about the saying that, there are no lay-offs if you are working in health care careers including nursing which I do believe because health care jobs are always in demand and they are the so called the "recession-proof" careers. Fortunately, there are online education which is easier than ever to get a degree in nursing.

As a caregiver myself, many of my co-workers (in the nursing home where I work)are currently in school for nursing during days while working at night. Some of them are taking their courses online especially for those who have kids to take care and don't have time to go in the campus. Me, myself I was planning on going to school for nursing but for some reasons, haven't started it yet. Now, I am thinking of going on the same field like an x-ray technician or radio. tech. Those are just my choices besides nursing, so long as it is on the health care field.
